I found the hotel to be in a convenient location for my visit to UCLA, near the freeway providing easy access to beaches, restaurants, and attractions. The rooms were well-insulated from outside noise but could benefit from noise reduction in the HVAC system. The service was friendly and prompt, although some staff seemed unsure about certain property details. The on-site dining was good but slightly on the pricier side. Overall, a great choice for exploring the surrounding areas.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a lovely sitting area and bathroom. The noise level from running in the room was a bit too much at times. The tablet feature for communication with staff and setting alarms was a nice touch, enhancing the overall experience.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were dated and in need of some renovation, with an odd smell of cheap carpet deodorizer, but they were incredibly quiet with a modern old LA elegance. The hotel offered a continental breakfast. The service was exceptional with friendly and attentive staff. The location was convenient for various destinations in LA, near major attractions and on a hill. The dining experience was marked by beautifully plated dishes but tasted like dried Denny's with drinks at the bar not meeting expectations.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean, modern, and had all the necessary amenities, with a large comfortable bed, making them quiet and comfortable. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very warm and helpful, always attentive to all their guests' needs. The location, while great for visiting my son at UCLA and convenient next to the highway, lacked nearby dining and shopping options. The dining experience offered just as good to excellent breakfasts in the restaurant.
The hotel room was spacious and beautiful, though we found it a bit too large, and the bathroom a little small. The view from the upper area looking out onto the swimming pool was nice, but the room felt a bit dated. The price we paid for the room was on the higher side.
